WorkStart learners bloom in new partnership with Lush

We are delighted to launch an exciting new partnership between our WorkStart programme and leading cosmetic retailer, Lush.

Famous for inventing the bath bomb and creating handmade, vegetarian and cruelty-free cosmetics, Lush is providing our learners with a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience in a vibrant retail environment.

Learners have been thoroughly enjoying their placements in Lush’s wonderfully fragrant stores, where they are developing key employability skills and building confidence in a real-world setting. From welcoming and assisting customers to learning about the wide range of products on offer, they are gaining first-hand experience of working in a busy retail team.

As part of their role, learners also help replenish stock, organise displays and ensure the store remains fresh, inviting and visually appealing for customers. These practical experiences are helping them develop important skills such as communication, teamwork and responsibility, all of which will support them in their future employment journeys.

We look forward to seeing our learners continue to grow and thrive through this exciting partnership with Lush.

Outcomes for learners are outstanding, teaching, learning and assessment are excellent and the extremely diverse programmes that meet learners’ individual needs, interests and aspirations, prepare them very well for life after College.
