Green fingers in the Hillingdon community
Our WorkStart students have been settling in to their courses, securing work placements and making excellent progress on their accreditations. One student, Jack, has his sights set on a career in gardening and he’s already on the path to success!
Healing Gardens provides gardening services to residents of Hillingdon who have disabilities or long term health problems. The organisation allows vulnerable residents to have safe access to their gardens so they are able to enjoy them once more. Jack is enjoying his placement with the Healing Gardens team and has thrown himself in, using his initiative and tackling any job sent his way with enthusiasm.
This is just the start of Jack’s journey and he’s already made such a great impression and set the foundations for a positive future in horticulture. Well done, Jack!
